02 / Where It Came From

It started with
a birthday cake

Blue toy chopper stuck on top of it. That was the first one we ever wanted and honestly not much has changed since.

We grew up watching our uncles work on bikes and figured we would dress like that one day. First bike at sixteen. By 2002 we were building for real out in Los Angeles, cutting and stretching fenders instead of bolting on parts somebody else made.

Back then a run meant twenty bikes rolling out together and every stop was a taco stand at midnight. That feeling is the reason any of this exists.

Cancer put the bike in the corner for a few years. It got back up. Now there is a garage behind the house in the Central Valley, a shop full of parts, and a rule that if you come around here you work on your own bike.

Drawn by hand

Every letter and every mark starts as a drawing we made by hand. Then it gets vectored, then it goes on a shirt. Nothing pulled off a font menu.

Sizes to 4X

We got tired of brands stopping at 2X and acting like nobody noticed. Every tee here runs S through 4X, and the big sizes get restocked the same as the rest.

For all builders

This is not a club and there is no color line on it. Old school, classics, choppers, bobbers. If you love them, it is yours to wear.

Fat wale corduroy with the wordmark embroidered straight into the front. The strapback closes with an antique brass clasp, the snapback with a classic plastic snap. Six colorways between them.
